Pets and their human companions are invited to join us as we
demonstrate our concern for homeless animals and raise money
for WCHS.  All animal lovers are invited...with or without a pet!

WE HAVE A GREAT COURSE!

 The 2-mile or 3-mile Walk will begin at 10:00 a.m. from Jackson Park on Jackson Drive in Jackson.  All walkers will leave at the same time regardless of their route choice.  Water for the animals and their companions will be provided along the route.

    
     
 

FREE NAIL CLIPPING FOR DOGS & OTHER FUN!

 We will have a groomer on hand to provide free nail trimming, trainers to offer advice, a pet bakery, and much more!  There will also be a variety of vendors to check out, breed rescue groups to meet, and food to enjoy!

    
     
 

LOW COST MICRO-CHIPPING!

 The shelter will be offering low cost micro-chipping to Walk participants interested in a permanent form of identification for their pets.

    
     
 

WCHS ALUMNI!  
Show off your best friend from WCHS!  Animals adopted from our shelter will proudly wear a special bandana signifying saved lives and second chances.  We can't wait to see you again!

Join us as we express our gratitude for a job well done, and honor the top walkers bringing in the most pledges. 

   
 
 
 

JUST A FEW RULES:

  • Walkers under 13 must be accompanied by an adult
  • All dogs must have current license and rabies shots
  • Pets must be on a leash at all times
  • You must clean up after your pets
  • Participants must sign a release form
    
 
 
 

REGISTRATION:

New This Year - Register Online!  Click on the Online Registration link below to register for the Walk online.  You can also collect sponsorships/pledges online.

 The Walk will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m.  Registration will start at 9:00 a.m., when walkers will turn in their pledge money and pick up their t-shirts and dog treats.

Pre-registrations postmarked by September 8th are $12 per person, $25 for a family of four, and $60 for corporate teams.  Day of the walk registration is $15 per person, $30 for a family of four, and $75 for corporate teams.

SPONSORSHIP:

You have two choices for obtaining sponsors/pledges this year: You can register online and recommend that your friends and family make their pledges online, too (eliminating the need for you to collect and turn in cash), or you can print the Sponsor Sheet below and collect pledges in person.
